The Angry Birds Movie

Red (voiced by Jason Sudeikis), Chuck (Josh Gad) and Bomb (Danny McBride) don’t quite fit in on Bird Island, a community of flightless fowl who are cheerful at all times. The trio becomes skeptical when a group of green pigs arrive on their island. When the swine’s nefarious plans are revealed, only Red and his pals have what it takes to save the day. Peter Dinklage, Kate McKinnon, Keegan-Michael Key, Tituss Burgess, Sean Penn, Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph and Tony Hale also lend voices to this comedy.

Keanu

Rell (Jordan Peele) becomes attached to an adorable kitten named Keanu while dealing with a painful breakup. But when he returns home one night with his cousin Clarence (Keegan-Michael Key), he is devastated to learn that his house has been burglarized and his feline friend is missing. The nerdy duo attempt to find the culprits who took Keanu, and they eventually get in way over their heads as their search leads them to infiltrate a violent street gang.

Mother’s Day

This star-studded ensemble comedy tells a series of interlocking stories about motherhood. A divorced mother of two (Jennifer Aniston) falls for a guy with two kids of his own (Jason Sudeikis), a young woman (Britt Robertson) tries to find her biological mom (Julia Roberts), and an overstressed mother (Kate Hudson) is visited by her bickering parents. This is the latest holiday-centric movie directed by Garry Marshall, who helmed “Valentine’s Day” and “New Year’s Eve”.

Captain America: Civil War

The denizens of the Marvel Universe are forced to pick sides when Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) come to blows over ideological differences. Their friends are forced to choose sides, resulting in a devastating civil war among the Avengers.
The movie brings back popular Avengers characters like Black Widow, Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch, as well as other Marvel heroes liks Ant-Man and Spider-Man. The film also introduces the Black Panther.

The Jungle Book

In this reimagining of the classic collection of stories by Rudyard Kipling, director Jon Favreau uses visually stunning CGI to create the community of animals surrounding Mowgli (Neel Sethi), a human boy adopted by a pack of wolves. The appearance of a villainous tiger named Shere Khan (voiced by Idris Elba) forces Mowgli’s guardian, the panther Bagheera (Ben Kingsley), to shepherd the child to safety in the “man village.” Along the way, the boy meets an affable, lazy bear named Baloo (Bill Murray), as well as a snake with hypnotic powers (Scarlett Johansson) and an orangutan (Christopher Walken) who wants to harness the power of fire.

10 Cloverfield Lane

Following a car accident, Michelle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) awakens in the basement fallout shelter of a conspiracy-crazed man (John Goodman) who claims to have saved her from the wreckage of the crash.
He informs her that a chemical attack has devastated the surrounding area, rendering the outside world uninhabitable.
Emmett (John Gallagher Jr.), who barely made it into the shelter, corroborates this version of events, but Michelle remains suspicious.
As the dynamics within the bunker continually shift, she begins to doubt the truth of both what’s happening in the shelter and in the outside world.
Dan Trachtenberg made his feature-length debut with this semi-sequel sci-fi thriller, produced by J.J. Abrams and written by Josh Campbell, Matthew Stuecken, and Damien Chazelle.

London has Fallen

In this sequel to “Olympus Has Fallen”, a terrorist plot unfolds as a number of politicians gather for the funeral of the British prime minister. A Secret Service agent (Gerald Butler), the U.S. president (Aaron Eckhardt) and an MI-6 operative (Charlotte Riley) must work together to stop the terrorists from assassinating the world’s leaders and destroying the city.
