‘Ronde-a-View’ in downtown La Grande


Screen Shot 2017-07-12 at 4.19.22 PMLA GRANDE — The Grande Ronde-A-View Weekend car show, hosted by Union County Timber Cruisers Car Club, is entering its 10th year of celebrating classic cars.

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. July 14 at Riverside Park, where participants can start the weekend of activities with a specially prepared dinner.

On July 15, the car show will be held on Adams Avenue in downtown La Grande from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Following the show, a Poker Cruise throughout Grande Ronde Valley will be offered, ending at the Senior Center for dinner. Each participant will receive two free dinner tickets. The dinner will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

There will also be a Cruise for Cash throughout the downtown area from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with cash prizes given away every 10 minutes, according to a press release for the event.

The following day, July 16, there will be a gathering for coffee and donuts at The (Texaco) Gas Station on Adams Avenue before heading home. People can join the Union County Timber Cruisers Car Club for another valley cruise and no-host lunch at a location to be determined.
