An open regional show titled “Places of the Heart” opens Friday, Feb. 2, at Crossroads Carnegie Art Center in Baker City.
“We’ve invited artists to submit artwork which conveys a story of the heart — not necessarily a place, but perhaps somewhere, someone or something for which the artists feel a deep affection or connection,” said Kristin Hauter, Crossroads art director.
The show opens Friday from 5:30-8 p.m., and will be on display through Feb. 24. The student gallery, located downstairs, will feature artwork from Head Start students. The opening reception will feature live music and light refreshments.
